There are many types of massage and bodywork techniques with focus on different areas of the body or healing approches. We suggest choosing our Signature Therapeutic Massage so that our practitioners can customize your idividual session and treatment plan to suit your needs. Listed below are the different modalities offered for you to explore.

  • Classic Swedish Relaxing. Energizing. Therapeutic.

Great for when you want a change from the deeper massage styles. Long gliding strokes increases the amount of oxygen in the blood, thus decreasing toxins in the muscles to improve flexibility and foster relaxation and well-being.

  • Classic Deep Tissue Focuses on the deeper muscle layers and specific areas.

Sustained pressure is applied using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles. There are a few techniques that qualify as Deep Tissue. Classic Deep Tissue massage focuses on the deepest layers of muscle to provide relief for sore muscles, increases flexibility, and restore function.

  • Contemporary Lomi Lomi The ultimate relaxation for mind and body.

“Lomi Lomi” means "to knead, to rub, or soothe; to work in and out, as the paws of a contented cat”. It is best known for long, flowing, dance-like strokes, often using the forearms. Although the contemporary style does not offer the same sense of culture, tradition and sacredness, it does include the belief that "loving hands" help you release not only physical tension but also mental, emotional and spiritual blockages.

  • Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique used to facilitate healing and restore balance and rhythm to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

  • Medical Massage For the treatment of repetitive motion and strain as well as relief from chronic pain.

Medical massage isn't a particular style of massage in itself, but it applies various massage techniques to achieve several client-specific medical goals. The focus is on a particular medical diagnosis that is a part of the physician's treatment plan and can be recommended for a variety of conditions.

A medical massage can provide healing after an accident at work, car accident or surgery and can help to reduce chronic stress and management. Your therapist is well trained in the contraindications and cautions of massage related to medical treatments.

  • Myofascial Release Loosens up muscular shortness and tightness to relieve pain, restore flexibility and function.

This technique focuses on the elastic and movable myofascial tissue that wrap around the muscles. When this tissue gets stiff and fixed, it restricts muscle and joint movement. These stiff, fixed points are called trigger points, which cause widespread pain.

  • Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy utilizes a variety of soft tissue manipulation techniques to address ischemia, trigger points, nerve compression and entrapment, postural distortion, and biomechanical dysfunction.

  • Orthopedic Massage

The aim of orthopedic massage is injury rehabilitation. Relieve pain, and increase range of motion while restoring balance to the muscles and soft tissues surrounding the joints.

  • Pregnancy and Postnatal Massage Each session is tailored specifically to meet the needs of Mom, pre and post pregnancy.

A woman’s body undergoes tremendous changes, some of them uncomfortable. Each session is tailored specifically to meet the needs of Mom, pre and post pregnancy. Side-laying positions with comfortable pillows guarantee comfort and pure relaxation, whether you need to focus on neck or low-back pain, swollen feet and ankles, or fatigue from pregnancy. After baby is born, this session may be just what you need as a new mother. You will leave feeling like the Goddess you are!

  • Triggerpoint Myotherapy

Trigger points are painful areas in a muscle caused by muscle fibers that chronically shorten and contract, leading to a unceasing contraction that is unable to resolve itself. Trigger points can cause weak muscles, restrict motion and referred pain, such as from the neck and shoulders causing headaches, or from the hips causing back pain. Your therapist can release these painful points and help you find relief from musculoskeletal pain.
